If you have yet to feast your eyes on the latest addition to the Toyota lineup, the C-HR, then please, stop reading this blog immediately and go take a gander! Its bold design that is turning heads and pushing boundaries is the work of Ian Cartabiano, the studio chief designer at CALTY Design Research. Another of his creations is about to arrive in Albuquerque—the all-new 2018 Toyota Camry.
As you might expect, the newly-redesigned eighth-generation Camry is like nothing you've seen before. It takes the model's "dependable-but-dull" aesthetic, and spins it into a hunky athlete, brimming with style.
For the C-HR, Cartabiano said his team was not "afraid to be polarizing. We took the challenge to stand out, and create something more exciting and dynamic." It seems that he followed the same philosophy for the 2018 Camry. You may love it, or you may think it's a bit too wild for the conservative-natured sedan you used to rely on. Either way, Toyota succeeded in their goal to make the Camry "emotionally charged."
